What is Answers From Me for Education?

Answers From Me for Education is a customized version of our product designed to support teachers, administrators, and other educators. Answers From Me is a service that allows educators (such as teachers, administrators, and staff) to share their expertise with knowledge seekers: parents, students, and other faculty.

We believe that everyone deserves to learn from an expert, and that people would rather get answers directly from an educator than sift through content on the internet. At the same time, we know that educators are busy, and so we’ve designed a system to make it easier for them to share their knowledge.

How Is Answers From Me different from ChatGPT or other chatbots?

Answers From Me is an AI service designed specifically to assist with the transfer of expert knowledge at scale.  We use a technique called Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) to improve the accuracy and reliability of generative AI models with facts fetched from your curated sources. We also build feedback loops between experts and their audience so that answers improve over time. The Answers From Me tech stack includes LLMs (Large Language Models, the technology that powers ChatGPT) to support natural language interactions, but the expert (the educator) is the source of knowledge, not the LLM.

Who has access to an Educator's AI Agent?

Educators control who has access to their AI agent. Answers From Me makes it easy to grant access to an AI agent via links or QR codes, and the educator maintains complete visibility and control. Content within the AI agent's Knowledge Base is stored securely, and educators can choose whether and how that content is shared, or delete it at any time.

How do you use the data you collect?

We use data provided to us by experts and knowledge seekers as required to deliver the features of our service. We don’t share or sell data, and you can delete your data at any time. We have more details about how we use data and AI in our AI Commitments.

How much does Answers From Me cost for educators?

Pricing is based on a site license per school building and enrollment size. Teachers and administrators will have access to create their personal Answers From Me AI agent and Knowledge Base. Parents and students will have access to a QR code or link that will give them access at no cost to an educator’s AI agent.
